Bud Anderson is a favorite with Warbirds in Review Attendees. We are pleased that he accepted our invitation to appear again with the Old Crow P-51s in his World War II paint scheme. Owners Jack Roush and Jim Hagedorn talk about their aircraft and Bud speaks about his time in Southeast Asia. His first assignment was in 1965 on Okinawa where he became Wing Commander of the Fifth Air Force's 18th Tactical Fighter Wing flying the F-105 Thud. In 1970, he returned to SEA to assume command of the 355th Tac Fighter Wing at Takhli Royal Thai AFB. Bud's son Jim Anderson flew the O-2 while stationed at Bien Hoa in South Vietnam.
