Stars and Beyond is an educational and interactive book of stories about African American pioneers in aviation. It honors their courage and determination that opened the doors of aviation to people of color.

About the Author

Casey Grant hails from an Air Force family. She started school in England, lived in Africa for a short time, and spent most of her early years in Rantoul, Illinois, home of the Chanute Air Force base. To pursue her love of travel, she became one of the first African American flight attendants for Delta Air Lines and flew all over the world for thirty-five years.
