This hat features a patch on the front panel with EAA Oshkosh and an airplane embroidered on it. The side and back panels are made of a white mesh material. There is a red and yellow stripe on the right side of the hat.

The number 53 (symbolizing EAA's founding year of 1953) is printed on the back near the adjustable button strap. The hat is made without a button for comfort when flying.
